Fire doors are an important part of a building infrastructure and can provide adequate compartmentation and assist with a safe passage to a required exit in the event of an emergency or fire situation.

Constructed of fire rated infill material with reinforcing plates for fixing of hinges, closers and latches, timber facings are bound to the infill to form a strong sandwich panel construction.

Fire doors can be constructed in almost any size combination up to 3500mm in the height and 1200mm in width. A width of up to 1500mm can be obtained with a reduction in height.

Fire doors, along with rated metal frames and rated hardware should be manufactured and installed to Standards AS1530.4 and AS/NZS1905.1

Fire doors should be inspected and checked in accordance with the requests of Australian Standards AS1851.

REMAC Fire Safety can supply and maintain fire doors in accordance with the Standards and provide ongoing maintenance and certification.
